The Yale Pediatric Thyroid Center

The Yale Pediatric Thyroid Center is the only center in the United States exclusively devoted to the care of children with thyroid conditions. The Yale Pediatric Thyroid Center cares for infants, children and adolescents with a broad range of thyroid problems. These conditions include thyroid cancer, thyroid nodules, Graves’ disease, hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism, thyroiditis, and congenital hypothyroidism. Members of our team include pediatric endocrinologists, surgeons, pathologists and radiologists.

The Yale Pediatric Thyroid Center is based in New Haven, Connecticut (Map and Directions). We welcome patients from the local area. We also care for children all over the United States and overseas, and we can assist with accommodations for out-of-state patients. Over the past year alone, we have provided care for boys and girls from more than 18 states.

In addition to providing clinical care locally, we are a resource center for physicians around the globe needing advice about complex thyroid conditions. Over the past year, we have provided long-distance consultation for children in many different countries.
