Mandatory Online Training [10/05]
1. Accessing the Training:

From
a Clinical Work Station
A. Go to YNHH HR Intranet either by desktop icon or by typing in
http://hrweb.mis.ynhh.com
B. Scroll to select Training in the left hand column
C. Select Healthstream – Mandatory Training from the items
listed
D. The Healthstream Learning Center page will appear |

From the Internet:
A. Select Internet Explorer as your internet browser – do
not use Netscape Navigator as browser (it does not work well with
the training modules).
B. Type in www.cmecourses.com/ynhh
C. The Healthstream Learning Center page will appear |
2. Scroll to the left hand
column, click on “Training”
3. Scroll over to Online Mandatory Training
4. Scroll down to “Get Your Employee ID for Mandatory Training”
and follow the instructions
5. Write down your employee ID and go back to Online Mandatory Training
6. Select “Healthstream-Mandatory Training” from the items
listed
7. The Healthstream Learning Center page will appear
8. Type in your User ID, which is your employee #, and the Password
is the last four digits of your SS#
9. After you login, go to the “My Account” tab on top and
click on “My Courses”
10. “Due Date” in red indicates an overdue assigned course;
all of these courses must be taken
11. From this page, you can begin taking your online courses by clicking
on the course name
12. Course names followed by (PA) indicate courses with Pre-Assessments,
or pre-tests…if you successfully complete the Pre-Assessment,
you have completed the course
13. If you do not successfully complete the Pre-Assessment on the first
try, you must take the course
14. When taking courses, work through each lesson. You may not take
the exam until you have completed all the lessons. You must get a minimum
of 80 to pass the exam
15. If you get interrupted while taking a course, the system will bookmark
where you left off
16. Once you have passed the exam, you have completed the course and
will return to My Courses to continue taking courses or logoff
17. You must complete a Pre-Assessment or Exam once you begin it. Incomplete
items and/or aborted Pre-Assessment or Exams are graded AS IS
18. You can print a certificate for any completed course. To print a
certificate, choose “My Transcripts” and then “View”
for the appropriate course. The next screen displays the certificate
and includes directions for printing the certificate.
