Research Patients Admitted to 10-6

There continue to be a number of research study pediatric patients (mainly older children undergoing the glucose/diabetes study) that get admitted and cared for on 10-6.

They are lowering the age cutoff to 8yo (from 12yo). This should hopefully help out with the workflow and bedspace (at least a little) on the pedi floors.

As is the case now, we will not be responsible for the day to day care of these patients nor will we be rounding on these patients. However, if ever there is an emergency on these children, be aware that we may be called/paged to assist.
