The Yale Pediatric EBM Journal Club meets twice a month between September and June with the following goals:

• To answer important clinical questions using the available medical literature
• To learn and apply basic critical appraisal skills
• To validate or change your clinical practice or institute new practices based on critical appraisal of the medical literature
• To further practice these skills in real time during morning rounds, on-call at night, during conferences, in the outpatient setting, etc. and to teach them to each other
