Section of Education, Department of Pediatrics

Welcome to the Section of Education. This section was formed in September 2013 to help shape and drive the education mission of the Department of Pediatrics and to centralize and coordinate education activities. We strive to create an educational environment that is vibrant and challenging and serves to attract and to train outstanding students, residents and fellows.

Our mission is to provide a foundation of support and a source of inspiration to educators throughout the Department of Pediatrics in order to develop the next generation of pediatric care providers who will lead and serve our global community.

We continually and actively pursue our vision to create state-of-the art approaches to education through collaboration with healthcare providers, patients, families and the community and serve as a model for ideal educational standards at the Yale School of Medicine.
